Abortion is the
intentional and deliberate killing of an unborn baby. In sections 58-63 of The
Gospel of Life,
Pope John Paul II makes among many statements, the point that the lack of
outrage over abortion is a clear sign of a dangerous moral crisis. Abortion has been referred to
as “an unspeakable crime” by the Second Vatican Council and it is one of the few
offenses, often unknown even to some Catholics), that carries the penalty of
automatic excommunication.
The statistics of daily,
yearly and to-date abortions are staggering. (See abortion counter) In the words of Fr. Frank Pavone of
Priests for Life,
“The solution demands that we lift high the truth. Truth is on the side of
life. Truth and life go together. Let us proclaim the truth that the preborn child is a
human person from the moment of conception; that love for the woman demands love
for her child; that there are concrete, life-giving alternatives to abortion; that
there are negative physical, psychological, and spiritual consequences of
abortion; that choice never takes priority over life itself; and that freedom is
found by submitting to the moral truth that comes from God rather than by trying
to be God ourselves.
Ultimately, we save the
world from the bondage of abortion and every other sin by lifting
Christ high. ‘If you continue in my Word, you are truly My disciples and you
will know the truth, and the truth will make you free’ (John
8:31-32).”

We
meet every first Saturday of the month in front of the local Abortion Clinic at 10:00am.
We arrive and
depart peacefully and prayerfully. Our prayers include a Pro-Life Rosary and the Litany
for Life. Join us
as we pray in a special way for babies, parents, the medical profession,
Pro-Life laws, and
those who work for Life. We meet at the parking lot of
Centenary and Rutherford across from the Meadows Museum and walk together to the
side of 210 Kings Highway to Hope Medical Clinic for Women. Please join us in our powerful, spiritual crusade for Life. It does
make a difference!
Everyone's Support is Welcome!
