Information on Natural Family Planning

   The Couple to Couple League puts it so well, “Natural Family Planning (NFP) couples have an extremely low divorce rate.  No wonder.  Couples find that periodic abstinence helps keep their relationship fresh, improves their communication, and gives them a deeper respect for each other. The practice of NFP helps to develop the strength of character necessary for marital fidelity and lifelong marriage.  Couples who respect God’s order of creation will enjoy His blessings.”

    Natural Family Planning is a morally acceptable way of embracing procreativity.  It has many advantages to consider as it is:

•  teaches an awareness of your fertility and your health
•  is 99% effective
•  very low cost - learn it & then no continuing costs
•  positive effects on marriages
•  backed by the Catholic Church

    We are very fortunate to have in our parish a husband and wife team who are certified teachers of Natural Family Planning through the Couple to Couple League (CCL).
