Holy Orders General Info:
Holy Orders, more commonly known as Ordination, is the sacrament established by Jesus Christ so that His Church would be well-provided for by men who have set aside their own desires in order to minister to His people. There are three degrees of Holy Orders: episcopacy, which gives us bishops, priesthood, which gives us priests, and diaconate, which gives us deacons. These degrees together make up the ministerial priesthood, which is at the service of the priesthood of all the baptized.

Hearing a Calling
Callings come in many forms. Our calling is to serve God in many varying ways. For those callings to the priesthood or religious life, please consider making an appointment with Fr. Karl. Fr. Karl would enjoy talking with you about this possible vocation. Discerning a vocation does not have to be a trip taken alone.
