Parish Sacramental Information

Baptism
Group Baptisms are celebrated on the second Saturday of the month (normally at 10am). Seminars are offered every other month beginning with February, on the first Wednesday, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Family Life Center. Parents should call the church office at least three months before anticipated date of birth to make arrangements for the seminar. Both Parents and Godparents are expected to attend.  Please contact Dotye regarding the preparations and requirements for the sacrament of Baptism


Confirmation
Catholic youth, who have undergone continued catechetical formation in the Church, are prepared through the Parish Confirmation program. The annual administration of Confirmation is for all 9th Graders.


Marriage
All couples planning to marry must contact the priest at least six months prior to anticipated wedding date, before making arrangements for church or reception. Marriage Preparation Weekends, scheduled quarterly, are required for all engaged couples and should be attended at least three months before the wedding.


Anointing of the Sick & Ministry of Care
Upon notification, communion will be brought to those who are sick, homebound or hospitalized and unable to attend Mass. Upon request, anointing for the seriously ill and those about to undergo surgery will be arranged. Contact the parish office.


Reconciliation - Confessions
Confessions – Saturday, 4:00 to 4:50 pm (summer) / 3:00 to 3:50 pm (winter)

Seasonal Penance Services (Advent and Lent)
Parish Penance Service, 7pm
Anytime, by appointment


R.C.I.A.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults: Sessions, for those interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or who are interested in joining the Church, take place September - May, on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Please, contact Deacon Bill or Carol Gates.


Holy Orders and Religious Life
For help discerning a call to priesthood or religious life, contact Fr. Karl or the Vocation's Director, John Mark Willcox  (868-4441).   Pray that those being called to the priesthood and religious life  will courageously respond and enter the seminary or convent!
