The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is Monday, December 9, and Mass is obligatory this year. The Holy See recently announced all Holy Days falling on, or transferred to, a Monday are to be treated as a Holy Day of Obligation, therefore all Catholics are obliged to attend Mass.

Mass times at St. Joseph for this Holy Day will be 7 AM, 8:15 AM (with the school), and 6 PM. There will be no vigil Mass and no confessions on Monday. Please know, the 6 PM Sunday Mass does not fulfill the Holy Day obligation.
