Get ready for some delicious baked goods for a great cause!

Mary's Workers, a ministry of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will be hosting their annual Bake Sale for Seminarians after all Masses at St. Joseph Catholic Church Shreveport on November 18th and 19th.

All proceeds go directly to the seminarians in our diocese.

The Diocese of Shreveport currently has three seminarians on their journey to the priesthood:

• Tristan W. Frisk (St. Meinrad Seminary - 1st Year Theology)
• Nathan Lirette (St. Joseph Seminary College - 3rd Year College)
• Austin Young (St. Meinrad Seminary - 2nd Year Theology)

Enjoy some delicious treats and help us show these seminarians how much we support them.

Please prayerfully consider helping to make this event a success. There are two ways you can help:

1. Provide bake goods to sale. Any baked goods should be wrapped and labeled. Please email Kay Nadar at kay.nader@gmail.com if you would like to donate baked goods. If you are bringing baked goods, the days and times for delivery are as follows:

• Friday morning (November 17th) from 9 until 12 noon, you can deliver bake sale items to the church office.
• Saturday (November 18th) from 1 pm until 4 pm, you can deliver bake sale items to the gathering space in the back of church.
• Sunday (November 19th) 30 minutes prior to each Mass, you can deliver bake sale items to the back of the church. Sunday Mass times at St. Joseph Catholic Church are 7:30 am, 9:30 am, 12:30 pm & 6 pm. The church address is 204 Patton Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105.

2. No time to bake but want to donate? Please consider giving a monetary donation. Checks can be made payable to Mary’s Workers, with Seminarian Bake Sale in the memo section, and mailed to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 211 Atlantic Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105. We will also be accepting cash donations & checks on the days of the bake sale.
