Karen  is a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  She taught high school English for several years, then worked as a licensed therapist at two psychiatric hospitals before starting her own private practice.  She finished her career at Loyola College Prep as guidance counselor and academic assistant principal in 2011.  Last year she completed training to become a spiritual director for the diocese.  She and her husband Joe have been married 50 years.  They have two adult children and 8 grandchildren.
